At such a devastating saddest time my mother passed away I had to search for a funeral . I found bare funerals from a tv commercial and it was the best decision I made bare we’re understanding fantastic to deal with no pressure no up front fees and a wide variety of plans to suit my budget from day one bare helped plan a beautiful funeral cremation for my late mother the day was lovely the whole team were on the ball no problems everything went super smooth I couldn’t recommend anyone else but bare. At our time of need, on the day of our dad’s passing, we really weren’t sure where to start or who to call. We decided to reach out to Bare Funerals. I’m really glad we did. They were fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Professional, courteous, sympathetic and caring. And most of all, helping us, and guiding us with what we wanted. There was no upselling or pushing us in a direction that wasn’t right for us. Just good old fashioned, simple and helpful service. All the way through from that first day of despair, through to the after care service. When my husband passed away in 2023 I contacted Bare. Our daughters decided they wanted to go with another funeral arranger, which cost well over $6,500. When I contacted Bare to tell them the daughters had decided elsewhere Bare were just so polite, they treated me with much dignity, respect and understanding. My mum was in her mid 90’s and deteriorating. With a view to preparing as best we could, we started speaking with local funeral services. What we found appeared to be ‘cartel’ type pricing (all the same) and all with extras. Then we tried Bare. Genuine customer service , sincerity and competitive pricing. I spoke with caring local staff every time I needed too and they followed up when required every time. The passing of our near and dear is difficult , arranging the final steps in this process shouldn’t be. Bare does it very well, they are a business and a service I would highly recommend.

My father's death was sudden and just before Xmas. He died at home and whilst waiting for a nurse to officially confirm I had to find a funeral company straight away. I completed online quotes with Bare and another company. Both used the same crematorium. The service with the other company was terrible. i chose them only because they called back first and sounded pro-active. I wish I had gone with Bare. I would advise anyone to research this while your parents or loved ones are still alive and check reviews, most importantly speak to the company. Bare were more attentive, empathetic in their follow-up calls in the whole time I was dealing with the other company.

The process of organising the funeral arrangements was efficient and well supported by professional staff. The total cost was well below other funeral service providers, without any pressure to add on additional services. The followup support and access to a legal consultation has been very helpful during an emotional time when there are many important decisions to make. My brother passed early January 2026.Very suddenly. We decided to put Mal in the wonderful hands of Bare Funerals. One of the worsed days of our life was taken care of by Bare. From my first phone call they treated my brother & our family with gentleness, kindness & took all the worry of organising a funeral from us, they did it all. We will be forever thankfully & can truly say our very sad day was mixed with smiles as Bare Funerals made sure not to make the funeral gloomy. The BARE team, from start to finish, were excellent - they provided a professional and caring service with the right amount of contact for our family during the passing of my Dad - never intrusive and always compassionate. From initial contact to receipt of Dad's ashes, the Team kept us in the loop about all of the necessities involved when a person dies, from paperwork to receiving Dad into their care and the return of Dad's ashes to our family. After the recent sudden passing of my husband in an Aged Care Facility, I engaged Bare to take care of his funeral arrangements. From the moment I first spoke to a Bare staff member (Bec) who advised me on the next steps, the level of service I received was above my expectations. My planner, Jake, showed compassion and understanding and was only too happy to answer my many questions. He checked in regularly to see how I was getting along. He was prompt and reliable. Nothing was too much trouble. I was referred to a wonderful celebrant who was unstinting with her time and took extra effort to help me plan a service that I wanted to be a little different and celebrate the happy times in my husband's life. I also wanted to have some customised stationery and the Designer provided a wonderful and very fitting design. All the paperwork was made simple. Bare Funerals stood out firstly because someone had mentioned I would save money. What I didn’t expect was just how much different they would be. Yes saved money but they empowered me to make decisions in my own time and within reason. We looked at short cuts to save money where possible but still wanted the very best for my mums last hurrah. Our dedicated consultant Chelsey was so lovely and checked in regularly. I was not inundated with calls and decisions and everything went according to plan.
