Having chosen prepaid Bare Cremations I can't recommend them highly enough. I can thank Fern enough for her care and compassion when we used Bare for my husband’s funeral arrangements. Fern was fantastic to not only me, but our two boys aged 12 and 15. She made a difficult, emotional process just that bit easier. The staff member when attending the viewing was equally as compassionate and really helpful. Bare’s app was simple to use, giving me updates, prompts and letting me know where processes were at and it was easy putting together a tribute page for my husband so family and friends could leave a comment and share their photos. Dani was my initial point of contact and she was just wonderful. She is just the sort of person you need to speak with at such a difficult time. Having an online dashboard was just great as it made it very easy for me to keep up to date with everything and also allowed me to complete everything in the privacy of my own home and at a time when it suited me. Another stand out was Natt, the lady who delivered my Mum's ashes to me. What an absolutely lovely lady. Overall Bare provides great service and great value for money and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I stumbled across a Bare Interview in a magazine/newspaper some years back and thought I would file that to memory because at the time was such a forward thinking approach to the whole process involved with losing a loved one. I dreaded the idea of having to ever use a traditional funeral parlour having seen first hand the narrower paths on offer. I’ve sat through many funeral services where it was the same service, the same ‘hit parade’ of funeral songs and bible verses or readings. Sadly, my brother was diagnosed with an aggressive terminal cancer diagnosis in 2025. I remembered the Bare article I’d read and decided to really look into what they had to offer. From the moment I ‘dipped my toes’ into the website, I felt no pressure to choose Bare, but found everything on offer made sense to us, was at our family’s discretion and timeframe and above all else, we were not treated as a number - we mattered. From beginning to end, geniune kindness, support and care was given to us from the BARE team and our Senior Arranger Kay Saneaha. Kay was available whenever we needed her either by phone or email. The dashboard assigned to our family allowed us to track what was happening every part of the journey, and held such valuable resources available at our fingertips whenever we needed. Communication was considered, heartfelt and we felt like we and our loved one mattered. There was no pressure to do things by a certain timeline and we were encouraged to look after ourselves during this period. Such a streamlined and professional service that helped the grief of losing a precious loved one that little bit easier. After a recent family bereavement, we were recommended to explore the cremation (and associated) services offered by Bare. I have to say that in a time when many public services are unreliable and questionable, Bare has certainly proven to be the absolute exception. Our experience from start to finish was exemplary. The deep compassion, knowledge of processes, efficiency and courtesy demonstrated by the entire Bare team was outstanding. Our support advisor Jake was amazing and led us through every step of the process with sincere compassion and detailed knowledge of the process. At a time when we were dealing with severe trauma and grief, the Bare team relieved us of the majority of the administrative and organisational tasks allowing us the time to grieve and support each other as a family. As a result of our experience, the majority of our large family have agreed that when the time comes, Bare will take care of us. To the entire Bare team, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were very pleased with the excellent service provided by BARE Funerals. Our situation was complicated as we live in Adelaide but our son lived and sadly passed away interstate. BARE coordinated all matters efficiently making needed arrangements through phone calls, email and internet. Their sensitive caring support was greatly appreciated. On the financial side we also found BARE very pleasing - straightforward, a good price, no hidden costs. Ongoing assistance with administrative matters eg a checklist of things to be done and when was appreciated. Thank you BARE.
