In short, almost anything is possible; whether it’s a traditional, religious, or modern funeral. Feel free to give us a call and we’ll see if we can make it happen.

Funerals

General

The decision to purchase your prepaid plan now or later completely depends on your current financial circumstances. The major benefit of prepaying with Bare is that you lock in today’s price – which is typically the lowest in the market. Paying now avoids any increase in prices, which can be substantial over many years. It also allows for peace of mind that you won’t pass the stress and burden onto your family when the time comes. Paying later allows you to save money in the meantime, however you do run the risk that prices will increase.

Prepaid

Burial costs can vary depending on the cemetery, burial plot, coffin and how you choose to personalise the service - our basic package fee includes an estimate of these items based on the cemetery listed in our price breakdown, but will be dependent on the location and type of burial you prefer. Other fees can include grave preparation, memorial markers and the funeral ceremony itself. We’ll work with the cemetery to provide a clear breakdown of costs to help you make an informed decision within your budget.

Burials

A Will is probably the most important document you’ll ever make in your life. Getting your affairs in order while you are still enjoying sound mental health allows you to make these important legal decisions now, before it’s too late.

Making a Will allows you to:

  • ensure your assets will provide for your children and other dependants after you die;
  • nominate the executor, or executors, of your estate, who will distribute the assets to the beneficiaries as per your written instructions;
  • safeguard your family from the possible stress of an unknown executor taking ownership of your estate;
  • make your exact wishes known about who will benefit from your estate after you die;
  • gift specific family heirlooms or sentimental items to those who you think will most treasure them;
  • replace any previous Wills that may be outdated if your relationships or other circumstances have changed.

Live Streaming and recording of a service is a lovely way to include those who cannot attend in person. At some venues, live streaming and recording is provided free of charge. Our friendly team can help you locate a venue with this inclusion. If a venue doesn’t include it, you can choose to add it as an optional extra, which usually costs $600–$900 for a service professional to attend and record. However, costs may exceed $1,000 with some providers, depending on the timeframe and equipment required.

Memorials

Not a cent. If we’re arranging a Bare Cremation, Memorial or Funeral for you, then all the Bare Aftercare services outlined above are included with your service at no extra cost. It’s just one of the ways we make sure Bare families are supported through the entire end-of-life journey.

Aftercare

Of course. Many families choose Bare Law because they specialise in probate. Plus, they have a fixed fee of $1,899 and you don’t have to pay upfront – you only pay when you gain access to estate assets.
