I joined Bare after meeting Sam and Cale through my previous workplace, and honestly, I couldn’t believe they were funeral directors. They were so down-to-earth and shared my belief that funerals should be as unique as the lives we’re celebrating.

Most people wrongly assume that working in the funeral industry is depressing; in my experience at Bare, this couldn't be further from the truth. When there's no pressure to sell fancy coffins, or upsell funerals for the sake of profit, I can usually hear the audible sighs of relief from the families I care for. It gives them breathing space to truly consider what their loved one would have wanted, not what the traditional funeral industry expects from them. We talk, we laugh, we learn stories from their lives, and we end our conversation with a lightness that many families desperately needed.

Outside Bare, I love to explore our backyard here in South Australia, especially our stunning wineries. I'm lucky to live near some stunning beaches and the best coffee in Australia. Other loves include Pilates, getting creative with Lego, and dancing.
